Birthday Wish List
When my friend Katie said, "30's a significant one, you get to ask for something big!" I didn't care to think if it was the truth or something she said because she, too, will be turning 30 next week but I was all. About. It.
I started thinking... ooh! What about the Louis Vuitton bag I've always wanted but couldn't afford? Or a set of 18" tires/wheels for Percy? Yes that last one was a tad random but I love cars. I just don't blog about that passion as much because, well, you'd probably be bored and I don't always know what I'm talking about. Anyhow...
So the purse is one. The dilemma is also that almost every girl in town has the same one either in the size that I want it in, or smaller. Either way, maybe getting a Louis Vuitton store here in town wasn't such a good thing. Then I started looking elsewhere, like Chanel... Gucci... YSL... who am I kidding? I'm not about to ask for a $1,200 purse!
The boys seem to have an easier time coming up with a wishlist. And I think it's because boys have lots of hobbies that are also quite handy like their love for grilling meat or their passion for power tools or watches. Then there's video games and electronics - there's no shortage for guys because, well, I don't really know why. Maybe it's because I'm just picky and fickle (an evil combination in these situations) and I can't make up my mind on what to ask for.
In a feeble attempt to narrow it down, here's what I'd like to unwrap next Friday and over the weekend starting from big ticket to not-so-big:
Louis Vuitton Speedy (Can't decide between the 25 or 30, and whether I want the typical monogrammed canvas or the Damier vs. monogrammed canvas.
Another pair of designer jeans from either Posh or Boutique Bella
Getting my car clayed, waxed and detailed
A series of classes at Sanctuary for Yoga
A new yoga mat, preferably from Jade Yoga (available at Sanctuary for Yoga)
Another pair or two of Hanky Panky low-rise thongs
Gift cards are always great. To any of the stores that I obsess about, or for anything I've listed. I also have video games that I want, but I'm going to keep those to myself.
That's really all I can think of for now. I have to add that I'm terribly sleepy so check back soon, I'm sure there will be more stuff I want!!!
