It's cool to say you're sorry

Apple, to me, has always been such a trend setter. Now I'm not calling this whole apology thing a trend but people I know have commended Apple on admitting that they messed up somewhat with the MobileMe "mess." I mean, there's another computer/tech company that messes up on a daily basis but we don't see them apologizing for their crappy products.

That said, I received an email this morning from J.Crew. Apparently they've been messing up with their online and phone orders. I've never received an apology for bad service before, but now that Apple's done it, I wonder who else might follow suit?
