Mission Stone & Tile
Over the years I've become friends and made the acquaintance of some very wonderful, creative people in Nashville. One of them now runs Mission Stone & Tile, which was featured in Apartment Therapy today for their Urban Timber collection of tile. It's porcelain tile that looks like wood and I now want it for my house. Somewhere. Anywhere.
The Husband and I have yet to rip up the (awful) carpet in our oddly shaped living room and it may behoove our limited budget to go with tile because matching the wood we already have would be pricey so if we're going to use different, contrasting material, might as well be different right?
Urban Timber may just be what we're looking for. If I had my way, there'd be zero carpet in my home. Some day, that wish will come true. For now, we're just focusing on the living room.
Want want want!! Oh, and I won't even get started on how much I love this kitchen. Anyway, that's how wonderfully natural the tile looks. It comes in various colors to suit your style and works both indoors and out. If that's not your style, they sell a ton of other material for countertops, walls, floors. And I know for a fact that their designers are top notch.
