Peapod

Are you squealing like I did when I first saw this picture?  That's a Peapod - a car that charges like your iPod or cell phone does in the wall at 110 volts.  It's a-dor-a-ble!

It's a neighborhood car, it caps at 25mph for speed and comes in three models: the Peapod (above), the Twinpod (2 seater) and the Utilitypod which has a little bed in the back like a pickup.

If it went at least 10mph faster, I'd consider one. But at the $12,500 starting price, I personally would rather buy a Smart Car which I can take on the interstate.  However if you do live in a neighorhoods with nearby shops and amenities (and a low speed limit), this is a great alternative to a golf cart.
