A couple of weeks ago I was invited to join in a test run of a supper club. The meal was prepared by Vivek of Vivek's Epicurean Adventures (and local charcutepalooza-ist) for me, The Husband and a few other food enthusiasts.

We had Roasted Cauliflower Soup w/ Homemade Bacon, Noble Springs Goat Cheese and Cilantro Oil | Berbere Spiced Chicken Lettuce Wraps w/ Local Buttercrunch Lettuce, Pickled Carrots, Charmoula and Harissa Sauces (homemade) | Tunisienne - Homemade Merguez Sausage, Bulghur Salad, Lemon, Chickpeas & Cucumbers. For Dessert we had Homemade Saffron Yogurt Panna Cotta, Strawberries & Pomegranate Molasses. To say the preview was a success is an understatement.

Don't be jealous, you get to have more this Saturday, there's still a couple of spots left. Here's what's in store:

He had us at "shrimp and grits."

Vivek's Supper Club will be limited to just 10 people. This Saturday May 7th's dinner is not full (yet). To attend, email ViveksEpicureanAdventures {at} Gmail {dot} com and he will respond with an invoice. Trust me, the preview meal was worth upwards of $60 per person but rest assured it won't be that much.

See you there!
