Flea Bitten - My First Time at the Nashville Flea Market
It was a hot July Saturday and vanity took a backseat as I trudged around the Nashville Flea Market in my gym clothes. I'd heard a lot about it from my crafty friends and couldn't wait to see what I found. My date for the day was Kristin, Zarna's Runway's Lifestyle blogger and a girl after my own heart who also loves pretty things and great design and crafting.
The flea market is a wonderful place filled with treasures if you have the patience to find it. Kristin left with a few that day and I left with my first big project that I will tell you more about in my next post along with an interview with one of my absolute favorite blogs/bloggers, Modfrugal. In the meantime, I'll leave you with a few of my favorite sights from the flea market.
Other things I saw included old doll beds that would make awesome dog beds, arm chairs from estate sales that were hardly used but I just didn't have room for, and some old, Ku Klux Klan paraphernalia. That last one aside, I'm already looking forward to going back but maybe I'll wait till it's a little cooler outside and I've become a little more comfortable with buying old objects to turn into new(er) things.
Can't wait to share my Modfrugal interview with you all and share what I'm working on! Oh and you should see the fun stuff that Kristin ended up going home with that day here on her blog.
Have a great weekend!
