Pre-school starter kit - all the things you'll want to have

Daycare and preschool may not require school supplies but it still does involve some shopping for other tools like lunchboxes, water bottles and the like. Here are some of my favorites that my son has been using. Some of these links are affiliate links from my Amazon storefront so I appreciate the support!

There are many Bentgo lunchboxes but I like this one for the built-in ice pack. It’s slimmer than the other lunchboxes and enough compartments to fulfill the daycare’s nutritional rules (like one veg, one fruit, one protein)

These Hydroflask kid bottles are easy to keep clean and come in two sizes. My kiddo drinks lots of water so he has the larger one but these are a great size for everyday. They keep water chilled, and you can write their name on the bottom.

Bamboo socks have been a game changer. They are super soft, and the best part is they help wick sweat and prevent those adorable feet from getting (shockingly) smelly at the end of a full day of running around and play.

See Kai Run was my go-to for when my son was starting to walk up till he was 3. They’re not crazy expensive, they withstand the rigors of playground play and even crawling! They’re a great starter shoe and have fun, gender neutral designs.

You’ll need to carry everything and this backpack will fit it all nicely. The side pockets can easily hold a hydroflask or a fatter water bottle, and this lightweight bag is waterproof and easy to wash.
