Hint of Myint: In The Kitchen With Arnold
Mark your calendars food fans (and you too Top Chef fans), Nashville restaurateur Arnold Myint (PM, Cha Chah, Suzy Wong's) is kicking off a monthly cooking class on Saturday June 25th. This month's lesson is called Picnic Potluck and he's going to teach us recipes for salads and sides which is great because I never know what to bring to parties and cookouts and end up being the fifth person to bring either slaw or chips.
Admittedly while I love to cook and I bake macarons all the time, the one thing I've never been able to make successfully are salads. I can never get them to taste like they do at restaurants and I don't think I've ever had a really good homemade salad. So this will be a good class for me.
It also seems promising that there are "refreshing treats" provided by the Wine Shoppe. Wonder if we'll learn to make sangria while we're there? I hear Cha Chah's sangria is delicious!
